A new approach for addressable smoke detection

VESDA-E VEA is ushering in a new era of aspirating smoke detection. As a multichannel addressable system, the VEA-040-A10 detector is able to divide a protected space into sampling locations, enabling the localization of potential sources of fire for faster incident response. Using microbore tubes, the VEA provides assured detection through active sampling and pinpoint notification of alarm with flexible installation options, as well as field programmability, enhanced connectivity and reduced total cost of ownership.

VESDA-E VEA

VESDA-E VEA is the first pinpoint addressable aspirating smoke detector (ASD) for standard addressable detection applications that has a unique centralized test and maintenance function. VEA supports up to 40 sampling point and with end to end tube integrity monitoring ongoing test and maintenance procedures can be conducted at the detector to reduce maintenance time up to 90% while lowering TCO by up to 60%. Centralized test and maintenance is ideal in environments where access to the protected area for ongoing maintenance is restricted or difficult.
